The castle is slightly noisy, but then again, it is a castle. Fantastic environment for a vacation. Highly recommended.

The hotel's food is incredible and the staff of both the restaurant and hotel make you feel like you are in your home not a hotel. This really added to the experience. Of the 5 places we stayed, all were very good but this one was exceptional. Thank you!

This is a wonderful retreat. Off the beaten path, but easy enough to find. The accomodations are everything that you would hope for at a small castle. The customer service is outstanding. All of the staff is courteous and helpful. We can't wait to return.

The only reason the directions were confusing is because we were coming from a smaller highway after missing the small sign for Perugia on the Autostrada.

The triple was actually a twin with a cot (my aunt did not appreciate that fact). Also there was an unpleasant odor in our corridor and room. The size of the room and the bathroom was wonderful however. We were very disappointed with the lack of fresh fruits and breakfast foods - as I had specifically asked the hotel prior to our arrival if there were be a spread of farm products. The breakfast was fair.

Older but elegant. A beautiful roof top with a nice view - very quiet for any time of day.

Only negatives. Taxis: Obviously being located in the country it is a little removed from Perugia. If you don't wish to drive you are dependent on taxis. The fares were quite variable. €18 - €23 per trip.
Swimming pool is located a steep walk from the hotel

We never received directions to the property and I was not able to find the directions you published on line. We were able to find the property, but with many stops to ask for direction in our bad Italian. The property needs some signage to indicate location on the roads in adjacent towns such as San Marco. We talked to other American guests and they had more problems finding the place than we. Other than this, we loved the property.

It is as good as the 'Little Inn in Washington', one of the top rated restaurant/hotel in the U.S. ... only difference is that the castle is real.

This hotel is beautiful and being a castle extremely interesting to stay at. The staff were all very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only comment I would make is that by the website map and location details you would assume it was closer to town than it is. It is a 30 Euro cab fare to get to or from the station or town which is a bit restricting. Other than that it was fabulous.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Nothing was a bother for anyone. For the quality and service provided we felt the hotel was very well priced compared to other stays in Italy.

While the room was nice and the kitchen well equipped the rooms and especially the bathroom could have been cleaner. Especially the bathroom needed some maintenance (shower sink was not working properly so bathroom got flooded and toilet flush was running all night). Also the promised SAT-TV was not working so that no regular German programmes were available.

Pool treated with special chemicals besides clorine. Much better.

we received a description of the way to Castello dell´Oscano. But to follow the street signs 'Oscano' was easier. Perhaps you can mention this in the description....

The service at the pool was o.k. but not as good as expected. The caretaker did not provide the umbrellas etc., we had to fix them ourselves. One morning the water surface was not cleaned, it was covered by a lot of dead insects.

Quiet, noble, extraordinary restaurant, pleasant, well protected from heat in the woods.
