The location of the property is perfect for catching the boat to Capri. Both the ticket booth and the boat are less than 100 yards away. Getting to the restaurants and shopping in Sorrento requires a 10 minute walk up a lot of stairs [or catch a shuttle bus that runs periodically]. The room we [my wife and I] stayed in was very small but had a nice view of the bay. As indicated in other reviews, the room was very noisy from trafic below at around mid-night or so when cars and motercycles would pass by on the steep winding road from town to the marina that passes in front of the hotel. Parking your car in the hotel garage [valet service required] is 20 euros [not a complaint, just a fact].
