Grat property! And the people were exceptionally helpful and friendly; unfortunately we didn't get the name of the one lady who was simply wonderful and wish we had had the opportunity to tell her... it was busy at checkout time. Highly recommend this hotel.

Clear directions on how to get would help.... a street map with ALL the streets would help althougfh that seems to be a common problem everywhere in Europe.

Our view of the sea from our balcony was amazing, I didn't expect to get such a great view.

It's a family run business and all staff are extremely helpful, the lady that runs it even gave us a lift to the bus stop because we had heavy luggage!

Great location, beautiful views, delicious food in the restaurant, brilliant and friendly service. The owner's son Angelo was only 17 and was such a great worker, so mature and so friendly!

Everything was great except the water pressure in the showers. They need to look into that as sometimes the shower had just a dribble of water. Otherwise the place was great and the staff was wonderful.

we enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. We would have welcomed a fan in the room as aircondition is extra charge, and it was extremely hot when we were there.

Although cleanliness could be improved, it was acceptable. The room was large and had a beautiful view on the bay. Staff was very nice and helpful.On the negative side, the room was noisy both from the inside(the hall) and the outside (school next door, traffic etc). Also, because of its location, it is very difficult to walk to restaurants , shops, cafés etc. so you are almost forced to have dinner at the hotel.

SOMEONE CAME IMMEDIATELY TO THE PARKING AREA, CARRIED OUR BAGS WITH NO WAIT WHATSOEVER.

tHE PROPERTY WOULD BENEFIT FROM A SWIMMING POOL, AS IT IS ISOLATED ON A HILL. THERE WAS NO OPPORTUNITY TO WALK REALISTICALLY FOR OUR 3 CHILDREN. THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD AT DINNER, BUT THE SAME CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST FOR 4 DAYS WITH THE SAME EXACT ROLLS BECAME BORING, I WOULD SUGGEST VARYING THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST SOMEWHAT. THE HELP OF THIS HOTEL PARTICULARLY MARY ANN WAS EXTRAORDINARILY GOOD. ASIDE FROM THE ISOLATED LOCATION AND LACK OF POOL, THIS WAS CERTAINLY A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Its situated in a small town between Positano and Amalfi which means you get to avoid the swarm of tourists in the other two towns.

Two cots are not what I call a double bed and the hot water was not consitently there and the overall bathroom was not very good.

Marianne and her staff were excellent to deal with, they made our stay extremely enjoyable. It was all that we imagined and more!!

A couple of areas that need some attention:
1) There should be a bath/shower mat for using inside the bath - otherwise it can be dangerously slippery, and in fact my wife did slip though without serious injury.
2) An extra pillow or two would have added comfort.
3) The bath towels were very thin and not very comfortable to use.
However, the bed and fittings were very good, the view was excellent and the food was good. There was something unexpected though - the price for the room was higher for the last 4 days of the stay and I had assumed this was because of high season, but in fact it was because the room was at half-board for those days rather than bed and breakfast. I had assumed that we were booking for bed and breakfast only. Having said that, the evening food was of good quality and it contributed to an enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Make it absolutely clear whether the price includes evening meal or not (or whether this is optional).
We used public transport quite a lot and it would be good if there were a 7-day transport card that could be purchased rather than individual tickets - however this is not the responsibility of the hotel, of course.
It should be made clear that if any prospective resident does not have their own transport, they are likely to have to do a fair bit of walking at some stage and that it is a hilly area.

A very beautiful location and a very friendly establishment - a good value stay.
