It could not be improved upon, the receptionist was most helpful in assisting us with information on the area and methods of transportation.

The Hotel was slightly outside of La Spezia, but the free mini-bus service provided by the hotel to the railway station and the ferries was excellent.
The Breakfast was good, nice variety.
The only adverse comment - we thought the air conditioning system in the rooms could have been better.

The Hotel was not only excellent value for money but the staff were excellent too.
La Spezia although basically a commercial and naval port had a very pretty promenade, interesting shops and amazing museums. Also it was very well placed for exploring the area by public transport,rail and ferries.
A highlight was arriving at Porta Venere by ferry from La Spezia.

Bon hôtel facile à trouver. Chambres en bon état. Bon accueil avec conseils et navette pour la visite des 'cinque Terre'.

There is more than one way to the hotel from the freeway. The hotel only provided directions from the autostrade. Of course I took the other route and became lost.

We arrived late and weren't told about breakfast, courtesy bus etc, so missed them. However staff in the morning quite happily found some leftovers and found a bus for us. But the evening staff couldn't care less about us at all.

Room was very small; bathroom fine; shower leaked over floor; bed hard; only one thin cushion.
Breakfast was adequate; coffee great.
The main problem was that the web said it was 1.5k from La Spezia, but it was quite a number of kilometres, necessitating an expensive taxi fare back. The courtesy bus was good once we found it existed, but only took us to town in the morning.

Adequate. Small room, uncomfortable bed, long way from station. But clean and on the whole friendly.
