They upgraded our rooms to a sea front room with balcony and a junior suite at no extra cost, without our having to ask. Very impressive!!!!

Staff was very eager to please, when making train and cab reservations we told them what we wanted and did everything else perfectly. Dining room staff and service was very good

My three traveling companions had not been to the Amalfi coast and were quite awed by the first terrace tour upon arrival. The bed turndown and weather forecast on our pillows was delightful. The tour by Guanerro after a harried drive from Rome was just what the doctor ordered.

Our concierge Guanerro was extremely cordial and helpful. He has a wonderful personality and arranged for tickets for a concert and gave much information and advice. He recommended a great restaurant in Positano - Max's which opened especially for us as we were there on off lunch and dinner hours. The food and service and ambiance were wonderful.

Guanerro made it a point to come outside to see us off, which was flattering. I will definitely return with my husband and highly recommend the hotel to all.

Hotel Santa Canterina is the finest hotel I have ever had the pleasure of being a guest of! The service is fabulous, the views from terraces and restaurants breathtaking. A must for a romantic interlude. I was sad to leave! Ravello & Positano were charming. You must rent a car in order to have the freedom to explore. We walked up the many steps accross the road for a great morning workout and along the road to Amalfi and out in the morning. The Amalfi Coast is God's Country! It is my favorite place I have visited in the entire universe!

The service, facilities , and location of the Hotel is a very good value for money.
Especially the staff is very polite, warm and friendly.

There is a shuttle from the hotel to amalfi every half hour , that was very helpfull for transportation although the hotel is within ten minutes walking distance from Amalfi.

Is a fantastic Hotel, with marvelous views, there you treated by the Hotel Staff as a King.
I.m sure i will use Santa Caterina again, i am impressed not only from the hotel facilites but especially from the way i have been treated by the staff.

I thought it was an easy and clear way to get hotels in Italy and the responses were prompt and clear. I always need connecting rooms as I travel with young children and on 'standard' sites its hard to put forward special requests. On www.ItalyBy.com there is room to input these kinds of special requests so you feel like you are actually talking to the hotel rather than a computer program

We were disappointed that the pool waSn't open and felt the only thing that the room service choice was limited. Its also a pity there are no movies in the hotel rooms!

The hotel is great, it would have been better if the weather was not so humid.

The room was small for the price charged,could do with a chest of drawers to put cloths in, the bahroom needs more counter space.

The bar service, the person in charge of the drinks was beyond expectations, the music in the evening was fabulous, a violin one night and a singer the next night, the paino player was great, no reason to leave the hotel for evening meals

Would recommend, but state that the rooms are expensive for the age, space and presentation of the room.

We stayed for 5 nights, then we went further south. However, we changed our plans to go back to Santa Caterina for our last two nights in Italy. It is a very pleasant place to stay!
