The msnsger as well as the receptionist were very nice and really gave the impression that it would turn out to be a very pleasant stay. ... Everything was very good and the manager and his staff really managed to the standards og a high class hotel. ... Perhaps you should point out the activities that the manager is more than willing to arrange (i.e. the truffels hunting including a fantastic lunch in an Italian home). Further more you could point out the very good qualities of the kitchen a little harder. ... I and my familly visited the Locanda together with several of our friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. We rented the whole hotel. All of us were very pleased with the arrangements and would describe the Locanda as highly recommended to visit.

WE only have praise for our welcome. No complaints whatsoever. ... We loved the locanda. It turned out to the the favorite of all the places we visited. The restaurant was superb and we were treated so cordially by the friendly and helpful staff. I would stay there anytime and would recommend it to everyone I know. It was a gem. A real winner. Thank you. ... Checkout went smoothly. No complaints. ... Cannot think of anything negative to say about the locanda. ... Locanda del Capitano was a find. We came upon it accidentally and were so thrilled with it. It is a place of solace. It seems so far removed from the rest of the world. It was just what we needed to start our vacation in Europe. We would stay there again and again. No complaints from this group... just thank you.

Booking in took too long - complete confusion (and absence of keys) as to where we were to go. No preview of room, no offer of help with luggage. Perhaps shpold confirm that light hand luggage is a big advantage as very difficult to get cars close to hotel ... See comment on hand luggage above
