This was just the perfect place to stay on the Cinque Terre.

This is a great small hotel made up, it seems of a couple of adjacent buidings. It is right in the heart of the cutest little town on the Cinque Terre & I could not imagine finding a better location. As a three star it equalled some of the four stars we stayed in & was 35 Euros cheaper a night. Our romm (No. 12) was clean, very airy (3 windows) & had great views. The bathroom was very clean & everything worked well. We loved the little breakfast room with its arched ceilings & the girl attending there was just so kind & friendly. I couldn't have a bad word for the hotel or it's location - absolutely perfect.

Great room with the exception of the shower. The shower curtain and design made it impossible to keep the bathroom floor dry.

Most hotels in Italy take your passport, photocopy or scan it and return it within 20 minutes; This was the only hotel (out of 6 establishments) to require my passport to remain at the desk. This could be inconvenient if you choose to leave the city for a side trip and needed it for other services.
MORE IMPORTANT: This was the only establishment where I felt COLD except while in sleeping the bed. The heating should be improved. The heating is the only deterrant to staying there again.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

The access to the accommodation was near the top of the hill, so need to be aware of this if carrying heavy luggage. Would describe the place as clean, and accommodation practical,but not luxurious. I have recommended it to a friend.

We did ask for a lower floor so we wouldn't have to climb so many stairs with our bags. We did have help going up to our room which was good. Enjoyed the room for our 4 night stay!

Older visitors should be informed that they will need to climb many stairs, inside and outside to access the room.

It was a very quiet, comfortable room with a continental breakfast which we found satisfied our needs.

There were no directions with the reservation and it was very confusing to find the place and get parking. I would suggest you give more information. THe people were very nice and accommodating.

For guests to be prepared to haul their luggage up a lot of stairs, since their was no offer of helping with their bags.
I liked that they provided fresh towels for each day of stay.

Terrace furnature in very poor condition. Terrace requires some serious cleaning as a result of sticky tree sap or pollen.
We very much enjoyed our stay otherwise.

Due to the nature of Riomaggiore the rooms
and the hotel entrance are not necessarily
in the same palce. As such the rooms are
spread about the town. This is normal for
accomodations in these small towns.

I found it very noisy when I stayed here. There are residents that live just outside my window and they were always yelling back and forth to eachother. Also, I found people in the other rooms around me to be very loud. I did not have a good sleep here.

When the website mentions that there is a parking garage available for guests to use (for a fee) it fails to mention that you will have to park your car at the top of the hill, walk your luggage down passed the gates to the hotel, and then get a key from the hotel to go park the car in the garage yourself.

The price was too high for a rather ordinary accommodation. The fridge did not work properly and the breakfast was quite unsatisfactory considering the price charged. The staff were very nice though and the location is good.

Would not recommend it because of the price, though we didn't have time to check the price of other accomodations in Riomaggiore at the time. My spontaneous recommendation would be to stay in a less expensive place, either in Riomaggiore or in another village in Cinque Terre.

The room was very small for 3 people. It was difficult to move around given the dimensions and then when you put 3 suitcases in the room you had to step over things. The bathroom was fine but very tight as well.

We were catching an early train in the morning, so we tried several times in the evening to pay for our room. The one time there was someone in the office, she was not authorized to take our money, the rest of the time the office was closed and there was no one around to assist us.
