Check in was very efficient, we were expected and shown straight to our room with the minimum of fuss.

We thought this was a very pleasant small hotel. More could be made on the website of its location by the river - it was loevly to have the window open at night to hear the running water.
A photo of the entrance sign on the website would be a good idea to help visitors find the entrance road, especially as the sign is so attractive and unusual.

The checkout was very efficient, we were presented with a fully itemised bill so that we were able to see exactly what we had had in terms of food and drinks. The lady at check-out was very pleasant and we hada nice chat.

A lovely small hotel, simple yet in tune with its surroundings, a real riverside retreat with excellent regional food.

Since the staff 'multi-task' (e.g., there was
no one at the front desk consistently, they
traveled from kitchen to dining area to
reception),it was a bit unclear from whom to
ask help about what! In the end, however, our
requests (e.g., help with making dinner
reservations elsewhere) were handled
competently and graciously.

The staff went out of their way to give us an
early breakfast and send-off (including
directions to Aix) a full half-hour earlier
than ususal.

A charming, tranquil country inn with
outstanding food close to many 'must-see'
sites in Provence: Bonnieux, Buoux, Gordes,
Roussillon.
