Very impressed with the apartment but a washing machine and basics like washing up liquid etc woiuld have been nice.

Zufahrt zur Unterkunft ist schlecht beschildert, kein Hinweisschild vorhanden!

Die Betten waren in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und das Bad nicht sauber!

Frühstück war sehr bescheiden!
...
Grundsätzlich ein sehr schönes Haus, schöne Lage über Florenz, Schlafzimmerbetten sollten unbedingt ausgewechselt werden.

It took us an hour to find the hotel using the instructions given and our map, not helped by numerous one-way streets. We arrived after dark at the 'hotel' which was just a private house with no sign, no lights and a locked gate. The road outside was very busy and we were unable to stop in order to ring the bell to gain access.
The welcome was very friendly, but the lady spoke no English and we speak no Italian. Luckily she was fluent in French!

Our apartment was excellently equipped and very clean. We were pleased to find a hotel offering self-catering facilities for a short stay.
Our friends stayed in the main house. They were surprised to find their room had no lock on the door.
One complaint, there was insufficient toilet paper and we had to buy some.

An elegant but faded, private family home offering bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Florence. It was very quiet and the grounds had been lovely, but were in need of some upkeep.
