The only disappointment we had was that they indicated they had a complimentary shuttle service into town, however they did not mention that the last shuttle back was at 6:30 p.m. and they only ran every hour.

An absolutely fabulous villa in a prime location with breathtaking vistas. Incredibly clean, wonderful staff who go beyond the call of duty to make one's stay a most pleasurable experience.

It was disappointing that the pool was not in use.

Lovely buildings and grounds. I found the restaurant a little disappointing, and the waiting staff a little surly. The hotel didn't quite live up to my expectations but it was an enjoyable experience all the same and the location is beautiful.

Terrific -- met all my expectations.

The shuttle bus is not as frequent as it could/should be and taxi service is expensive. Advance booking is required on the shuttle because of limitted space on the vehicle. It runs only until early evening -- getting back from Florence after dinner is always a cab ride. This is a bad feature of the hotel.
