i needed to leave earlier than my companions and the owner was very accomodating about this.

very nice. not in the main part of florence, but a five minute walk away. away form the tourists! it was so hot when we were there, and stepping into the cool, dark building was a dream. the room was very nice. the owner was helpful in finding us parking. this felt more like an apt building than a hotel and we liked that!

Very helpful hints about getting around the city. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. It was like having our own apartment with our own entrance and keys.

For the price, the location was perfect for walking around Florence. The area, the Altrarno, is full of interesting restaurants and shops. It is an older area which is undergoing a renewal.

The owner arranged a taxi for us which arrived promptly and took us to the train station, about 15 minutes away.

Great location. Central but quiet. Clean,spacious and very comfortable. No luxuries but at the price it is a very good deal.

We are accustomed to staying in 4 and 5 star luxury accomodation, however due to the Pitti show not only was there no accomodation available in Floerence, what was available was ridiculously expensive. We found 'our lillte find' to be a wonderful experience and excellent value for money.

Very close to everything in the city. Alessandra is wonderful, a wonderful place to stay. We completely enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Our only problem is that there is quite a bit of noise from the street, but once the windows are closed, all is OK. Great restaurants nearby!!

If you leave the hotel and turn right and walk for 10 minutes outside of the city walls, there are plenty of cheap and wonderful restaurants, far away from tourists!!

There is no sign with with Hotel name visable from the street, I think this would be helpful.

As a non - smoker the cigarrette smell in the hotel was off putting, and seemed to be always there.

Great place to stay, friendly, helpful owner that spoke english very well. clean room and bathroom and great location.

There were at lot of noise from within the building. We had asked for a quiet room, but had to sleep with earplugs. There was no streetnoise but the walls were paperthin and the neighbours doors could not be closed without slamming them repeatedly. Also the neighbour used the bathroom in the hall just next to us wich woke us op when they came home in the night.

They were very helpfull with getting us a taxi for the airport in the early morning.

Very basic. Only a plase to sleep and that might be difficoult becourse of the noise.
But the rooms was surprisingly cool in the middle of a very warm day.
A very central place to stay and this is what you pay for.
