We thouroughly enjoyed the family that ran the B&B and would recommend them to anyone that we thought would be visiting Florence. They helped to make our stay a most enjoyable one.

Giovanni waited for us at around 10:00pm. He opened the door and even assisted my three year old grand daughter to climb up the stairs as we were busy carrying our luggages.

Aside from Giovannie, the staff are all kind and nice peopleincluding Chiara and Jesus. The management allowed us to leave the baggage upon check-out and stayed at the waiting room for few hours before we took the train to Milan.
The only thing we would like to suggest is to spray insect repellant once in a while due to some mosquitoes in the room. My grand daughter got some mosquito bites on her eyelid and arms.
We already mentioned that there was a little bit a problem on the shower door.
However, despite these minor issues, I could consider worthwhile staying at Soggiorno Laura at the price I got. To top it all, I enjoyed using the unlimited free internet access.

Reasonably priced, nice people and unlimited free internet access and the place is clean, very accessible to the train station, shopping areas, galleries, etc.

The guys running this B&B were very friendly and professional. They spoke almost no English, but we were able to communicate anyway. Breakfast was simple and delightful on the outside terrace with a cappucino being freshly made! ah... Florence! Very clean!

When I arrived I almost fainted because there is not elevator and I had a heavy suitcase. However the stay made everthing better and sometimes the staff helps you with the suitcase.

In general the price of the room is very high for a B&B but in comparison to the prices in Florence and what you get. it was fine.

No elevator but good location, super friendly and helpful staff and clean. p.s. Nice terrace in the back.

i have never been in a hotel where the towels were actually like big teatowels.because soggiarno soleil was connected to this property asnd used by students there was quite a bit of noise late evening.
