We loved the room we had and we loved the brakfast and the service. It was the best of all the places we stayed in Italy. The only hard part was getting the reservation; it took more time and back and forth e-mails to get a confirmation than anywhere else we stayed. It was also an expensive room for off season; we were the only guests and would have hoped for a break in the rate.
Which would make it more difficult for us to recommend to people for off season.
Otherwise we loved it.

Entrance to the property is somewhat difficult to find --really neaded a taxi driver.

The location of the B&B was central to everything important in Florence. The care and attention to detail from the staff earned five stars. The personal touches at the property were more than memorable. If you stay somewhere else, you are missing out.

I loved the accommodations, they were very centrally located, my room was beautiful, the breakfasts were great. I would definately recommend In Piazza della Signoria Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a place to stay in Florence.

I have already told several friends that I think the place is an undiscovered gem. My rooms were superb, the value was exceptional. It's very nice to say that everything was as described or even better.

Excellent place. The staff are really nice and efficient. Salvo in particular was fantastic. Big comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. Great breakfast. Great location. What more can one ask for?

A cosy, charming place with personalised service. There are friendly touches which you would not find in a 5-star hotel. My six years old son put it aptly, 'This is more like home than a hotel'.

Parking and navigating in Florence with a rental car are a challenge. Hotel has an arrangement with a local garage outside the city core, you can walk to the garage (20 min) and take the car from there - much easier. The garage will deliver the car to the hotel and pick the car up at the hotel if you wish but we do not recommend this.

Nicely restored historic building in the old city centre, excellent location for exploring all of the cities attractions. 20 minutes walk from a parking garage with easy access to the autostrada. Many classic Italian restaurants and lunch bars serving coffee, Panini and Gelato.

It is nowadays rare to have someone help with the luggage. Ephraim's enthusiasm, friendly smile and insistence that we relax while he took care of all the bags was most welcome!

We expected it to be a very high-quality b&b, with a great location and a courteous, helpful staff. We got exactly what was promised. I recommend this b&b highly to anyone who wants a visit to Florence that is both luxurious and efficient (effiecient because it has the best location for sightseeing!).

The Ginger Herb shampoo is excellent. You should mention that it is across the street from an internet cafe...this proved handy. And the restaurant Il Bargello was very good indeed (and not at all far away!)

Road construction going on just outside the inn which was very loud and ensued every morning @6:00a.m. This was most irritating! We felt we should have been given a discount due to the huge inconvenience.
Also, the staff hardly spoke English. We did not get any of our telephone messages and we did not get our wake-up call.

I would describe the B&B as the perfect place to stay when you want a 'Florentine' experience. Walking out the door and being right on the Piazza della Signoria is worth the price of the room. The room was magical with the curtin hanging over the bed and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

you have an excellent selection of accommodations, the best and most accessable. the best i found. i did a lot of looking for accomm. on the internet and your website was easy to use and most of all i liked the fact that there were pictures and info given on what to expect re noise and so on.

elegant accommodation enhanced by keeping the feel of the beautiful old buildin using good furnishings, professionally run, clean, great breakfasts with special touches like bows on the linen napkins and lovely crockery and cutlery and especially nice hosts and staff. attention to detail. a wonderful florentine experience. would have preferred duvets and softer pillows but that is personal preference.

The staff was exceddingly hospitable. They offered us food and drinks imediately upon arrival, helped us with our luggage and most helpful, they drove with us to return our rental car. Something that would have been extremely difficult on our own in busy central Florence. They were so warm and friendly and nice to our children.

The bathrooms were modern, spacious and very clean. These were the best bathrooms of all the hotels we've stayed in in Italy. The continental breakfast was also very good. It was brought to our room and the time of our choice or we could have gone down to the breakfast room. The B&B was pretty and inviting. We felt at home here. It is also in a great location. The staff was able to find an outside laundry service for us and took care of getting the clothes to them for us.

In the arrival instructions you could note that you can not drive your car right to the hotel. You must park nearby on the street, behind the Piazza della Signoria, then walk. You can get pretty close if you know to arrive near the back side of the piazza. Also the hotel name is only marked with a small name plate next to a buzzer to enter the building. It could be easy to miss. However the street and address very not hard to find.

Lovely rooms with great bathrooms (5-star quality), the friendliest most helpful people you could ever meet, great location, felt like you were staying with old friends in a cozy, beautiful home. Very good breakfast. The suite is perfect for families. We loved having two bathrooms. The price is very reasonable.

The staff was extremely helpful throughout our

taxis, etc.

The proximity to so many bell towers meant
that we heard bells ringing during the night.
I had to use earplugs to block the noise, as
there was more than one set of bells, and
they were not synchronized.
Although the online information clearly
stated that towels would not be replaced
during the week, it is the one shortcoming of
the facility. I recommend that you encourage
them to provide a change in towels after 3
days for guests who stay 5 or more nights.
The size of the elevator is much smaller than
any encountered in the US. It is about 50cm
x by 75 cm, and really can only hold one
person at a time, or two people who know each
other very well.

The accomodation exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, the room was beautifully decorated with modern ammenities and most importantly, it was spotless, pristine!! They served breakfast in our rooms with beautiful silverware, they made reservations for dinners, shows, arranged taxis, etc. It was sim;y wonderful.
I would recommend Piazza Della Signoria B&B to anyone! It is an absolute gem.

It was an absolutely super location for everything in Florence, and a very comfortable room.

Very spacious, very clean and quiet, with a lovely breakfast each day and room and bathroom always immaculately cleaned daily. The added advantage was to step out into the very heart of Florence, with no need to drive.

The apartment was much smaller than expected. The second bedroom was really a loft, the bed required that we climb to access it, and then we had only a couple of feet between the surface of the bed and the ceiling. Although the view was wonderful, we were 4 adults and found that the 2nd bedroom was not appropriate for adults. We would have preferred to see photographs of this bedroom prior to booking, as we would have chosen alternate accommodations. The loft bathroom was leaking and kept dripping to the floor below by the front door to the apartment. The bathroom was very small and not well-planned.

The apartment has a wonderful view from the loft, but a young couple should stay in that space, as the access to it is not easy and stable. Although the apartment has a kitchen, it is quite small, it would be best to eat out rather than cook. The bedrooms are far apart and offer privacy from one another. The bathroom in the loft was small and the shower would soak the toilet and sink.

IT WAS VERY ENJOYABLE. THE STAFF WERE WONDERFUL AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT. WHEN WE ARE IN FIRENZE NEXT, WE WILL TRY TO STAY HERE AGAIN.
THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THAT WE HAD HOPED FOR A BETTER VIEW OF THE PIAZZA.

Arrived at station on a Saturday night in the rain. It was impossible to get a taxi from outside the station as none were picking up there. Eventually the owners of the Piazza del Signoria phoned one for us and it arrived promptly. It would be worth while advising clients that it is far easier for the hotels to order taxis to the station for you than for clients to wait for one in the taxi rank - especially at busy times

The view of the square are somewhat limited and were disappointing. For 240 Euros we expected a good view not a very strained side view. We were unable to view other rooms to compare the view from the upper levels of the accommodation
