They wanted to know what time we would be arriving, because they're not always there. We were a bit late but there was someone to greet us. Another time, when we were in our room the doorbell rang and rang and rang - guess seomone was early for check in - it was around 2:30. ... Very charming rooms but ours (Mirror room)was quite small. The shared terrace was very nice. Only complaint was all the keys! you have to carry around 5-6 keys to everything. ... It's is a bit of a walk to the main attractions and very confusing streets - we got lost even with the map - I suggest buying a good map, not using the one they give you. This was true of all the places we stayed in Italy - the free maps are not very good. ... Very charming B and B on a quiet street a little ways from the main attractions. If you are one accustomed to being serviced on hand and foot(we aren't)then it is not for you - they are only there in the mornings and from 5-7pm. That's why they want to know when you will be checking in. They were very helpful in getting us advance tickets to museums and making restaurant reservations. Another plus was the free mini bar. No privacy please signs for the doors. This is also true in many places in Italy.
