This accomodation was fabulous. Three minutes walk from the duomo, warm and friendly staff, good breakfasts. I would highly recommend it without hesitation.

This hotel has the perfect location in
Florence. The accomedations were very good.
My only complaints are the owner (front
desk) was only around, briefly in the
mornings. if we needed something, we were
not able to get a hold o hime. The other
complaint i have is the nosie. at the base
of the hotel is a bar with outside seating.
other than that, it was a great hotel.

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The room was clean with hig ceilings and beautiful decor. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Additonally, the location is perfect. It is steps from the Duomo.

the room was not spacious, but very clean and well taken care of. nevertheless, there is no view, and this sometimes is bothering.

Of the 3 hotels we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Italy this was by far the best. It felt as comfortable as being at home. Guiseppe was very helpful with putting us in touch with needed resources such as laundry services, dinner reservations, museum tickets (he told us they were free during the month of May! Something I had not learned via the Internet). The cappucino was delicious and the Duomo is so close, you are steps away from a postcard view of Florence. The air conditioner is virtually silent, the windows are double-paned and double-shuttered. My feet weren't even tired after 3 days. I would highly recommend this B & B.

This is a wonderful B&B, right in the center.
A real bargain! Nice accommodations and very
clean. The staff was extremely friendly and
helpful. Free internet wireless. This was a
great experience and I would stay there again
when I come back.

Very easy to get to from Santa Maria Novella

We got there a little early so we ate lunch next door at Osteria [unique& excellent],and Giuseppe [the proprietor] was waiting for us in front .

The Location is fantastic, right by the Duomo,1/2 block away, just enough to keep the noise down.

THERE WAS A NOTE ON THE DOOR SAYING BACK IN 5 MINUTES AND WHEN I CAME BACK IN 5 MINUTES I WAS GREETED BY THE RETURN OF STAFF...THERE WAS A CONTACT NUMBER.
THEY HAD ALSO TRIED TO ASCERTAIN MY ARRIVAL TIME ON THE INTERNET BUT I MISSED THIS AS I WAS TRAVELLING

I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO BE ABLE TO OPEN THE WINDOW OF MY ROOM

MY BAG WAS LEFT IN THE COMMON ROOM AND I WAS GIVEN A KEY SO I COULD HAVE ACCESS TO MY BAG UNTIL TWO O'CLOCK .... THIS WAS VERY CONVENIENT

My stay would have been much more enjoyable if not for the restuarant/bar on the ground floor. I guess that owing to a football game and the Labour Day celebration, the parties went on till after 3:00 a.m. in the morning. Therefore, for the two nights I spent there, I was not able to have good rest.
I think better sound-proof windows (the B&B web site claims that the windows were sound proofed)and maybe even insulated walls would help. Something for the B&B to consider when they decided to renovate their premises. I know at least one other couple staying were kept awake by the noise. H
Breakfast here is higher quality than the B&B in Florence.

A nice, clean B&B in a very central location. The only drawback is the restuarant/bar on the ground floor. Great sandwiches (may be made to order) at the Casa del Vino near Pizzazz San Lorenzo. Within walking distance to train station, supermarkets and internet shop.
Re. Publication and Privacy level. I would like to be known as 'WH' from California. Thank you.

Directions were not clear for a TOURIST who has never been to Florence. I had to stop twice and ask along the way!

It was VERY VERY noisy! Outside (out of control of the owner) was noisy all night long. But early in the morning it was noisy inside our bed and breakfast--very thin walls I suppose. Telephone ringing, etc.
Also, Guiseppe does not speak English. And there was no telephone in our room.

Great location!! The website did not mention that the owner does not speak English, we had a very hard time communicating. Also, no phones in the bedroom.

On the second day we were there, the owners
had a new window installed which made a
significant improvement in terms of the
noise level which was wonderful once this
was done.

There was a lot of noise at night from the restaurant and bar directly downstairs from the B&B.

It is a very charming, clean and recently renovated B&B in a spectacularly good location. The one drawback is that it can be quite noisy at night thanks to a restaurant and bar downstairs.

Our bed and breakfast in Florence was fantastic. It was very clean, the most comfortable bed we had in all of Italy, very nicely decorated, the location was perfect, and the breakfast was pretty good. Our host was attentive, booked us a taxi to go to the airport. Our stay in Florence was excellent.

Central, cosy but not clean.At the end of our stay our slippers were really dirty full of dust and down and the person responsible for the cleaning would put the towels we had on the floor to step on after the shower together with the clean ones. The towels also had a very unpleasant odour.
