There was a problem with noise in the room from the busy road below, however this would not prevent us from staying at the hotel again, all other aspects of the hotel were excellent. I would recommend the hotel but if someone is a light sleeper the noise maybe a problem.

Beautiful old building which has been carefully maintained to modern day hotel requirements, friendly staff and in an ideal location for most of the city's tourist sites. Being near to the main bus and train station was very handy.

Our stay at the Hotel Paris was an absoloute delight. The accommodation was charming and quirky with a high standard of cleanliness and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

Overall excellant service, good honest descriptions, good slection of 1 to 5 star hotels and B&Bs.

We where given propably one of their best rooms, very large and exceallnt facilites for the price we booked at. Very Very good value. Polite porter.

Near the station and major cites, good qulaity accomdation at decent price with attentive staff and excellant breakfast. (The coffe maker was supplemnted by excallt on request cappacino making by the staff)

Great location. Very clean. It's a beautiful hotel but it just needs a little 'up keep' - a little refurbishing...paint coming off the walls, broken stain-glass windows, etc.
Would definitely stay here again when visiting Florence.

No directions were given the Hotel Paris,
we used the local map of Firenze to find the hotel which was not an easy task, considering
the many one-way streets in Firenze.

Old estate from the middle ages, furniture antiques or antique reproductions, dining room ceiling with frescoes. Excellent location, very good breakfast, can't ask for anything more. A real jewel!!

Evem though we were a bit early, the roo eas ready for us.

I loved the fact that there was a little outdoor patio on the property. We spent many an afternoon there (to get out of the heat!) and had a bottle of wonderful Italian wine practically each day!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is delightful and very welcoming. Our only problem was that the rooms were very warm and we needed to have the windows open at night. It was extremely noisy and we would ahve preferred to have the air conditioning on. However, we were told that the air conditioning wasn't available until June.

Good value for money. Good service and delightful decoration. Very convenient for all city attractions. Comfortable.

Although we didn't get the proper accommodations it worked out fine. We needed 2 rooms with 3 single beds, instead we received on with 3 singles and one with 1 double and a single. However, we were able to work it out.

The location was very good for us. The bathroom of the Presidential suite was very disappointing as it was small and dark compared to the room itself. The television was quite small and the minibar was just sitting on the floor. We expected the ammenities to match the level of the room more. But everyone was very polite and nice. The hotel just seemed a little dated. I probably would not recommend the hotel and would choose to stay somewhere else myself next time. I would however use your service again next time as I found it very helpful. Thank you

We had a problem as we had a car and there was no place to pull up and unload as their loading zone was already occupied and you can't double park as the street is not wide enough. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that we just find a parking space and unload and the garage will come and pick up the car if you use the garage they recommend. Even if you park it yourself, it is good to be forwarned of the narrow street and the fact that you have to find a space temporarily.

I would say the location was good. Our room was very spacious but the bathroom was disappointing. The hotel felt kind of gloomy, not very cheerful and lively if that matters to people.

As the airconditioning in one of our two rooms did not work, we received a complimentary upgrade to a suite! It was fantastic!

The accomodations were beautiful, clean, the bathrooms were recently renovated and beautiful. It was nicer, cleaner and better than the 4star hotel we stayed at in Venice. I would not stay anywhere else in Florence!!!

Hotel Paris was like a home away from home! Ask them to make you a cappucino at breakfast, it may be the best you have in Florence! Go, but ask for room 101 with it's spectacular ceilings! I can't wait to return!

It was a great hotel in a wonderful location. We were very pleased because we were upgraded to a suite and had a beautiful view of the Duomo. The room was big and clean. I did see some other rooms on our floor that were the typical european very small room. There is an elevator that you should ask the location of because we didn't think there was one and we were on the top floor and it wasn't fun bringing our luggage upstairs. We thought that since we were on the third floor we didn't have far to go but we did. Overall I had a wonderful experience and was very pleased with my stay.

The rooom was supposed to be ready by 2:00 and was not ready until 2:30, which was only a minor inconvenience. They directed me to a salon to wait. I do not fault the desk staff.

The layout is very confusing and there are multiple levels with similar numbering systems. Clearer signs would help. The staff tried to give good directions, but we got lost any way.
The windows shutters did not latch properly, and there was no way to control the heat. On these things we were fortunate that temperatures were acceptable. Again, minor details, but the biggest problem was the lack of an elevator.
This elevator problem was terribly difficult on the porters, as well as the rest of us, since we had to check out at 5:30 am without any assistance for our many bags.
Overall, we really liked the paris and would give it a second chance, basically because the staff was so nice and tried to make us comfortable in every way. For 200 euros a night we expected a little more.

Close to the train station and the Fortezza but not noisy. Easy walk to the Duomo, and on the bus lines. Friendly staff, multi-lingual.

Getting to the hotel by car seemed to be very difficult because of so many road restrictions and one-way streets in the middle of Florence. We were faced by signs giving several different restrictions on one road and we didn't know if we were allowed to ignore them to gain access to the hotel.
Having arrived we had to wait on a nearby road for about 10 minutes till a space came vacant outside the hotel for us to be able to unload our luggage and check-in.

Good position for getting to all the main sights - we were very satisfied with the hotel once we had managed to reach it and get rid of the car!

I was unable to pay the night before my early departure. I was unable to obtain breakfast even 5 minutes before 0730 and had to catch a train at 0807.

The rooms were very old and very small. Not at all the rooms which were shown on the webiste, which were much larger en brighter.
Also the view was very poor: we only saw the roof tops of Florence and a low level...!
The reception was very kind though.

As i stayed in this hotel for 3 times, every room in Hotel Paris is so different. Web pictures are not totally reflect what i expect the room is. It would be better if i can tell what condition of the room i like when i book online, hotel can help to prepare the right one for me.

- it's very good location
