escorted us to our beautiful room overlooking
the courtyard.

A secret garden filled with blooming roses and
fruit ladden lemon trees in the middle of
Florence providing a hidaway from all the
traffic, exhaust fumes and people. Delightful!

A quiet and very comfortable centrally located first class hotel with relaxing rooms including sufficient air conditioning (we were on the first floor). For best results with the air conditioning, keep the bathroom door closed.

The bathroom rather small for a 4 star hotel

Make it clear the breakfast buffet is cold,we had better breakfast at the Hotel Florence in Bellagio which is only 3 star.

We stayed in the old building which is absolutely full of genuine character,it was a real surprise to walk in off a small side street into the hotel.A big plus is the large garden the hotel has.The breakfast was not up to 4 star standard,there should be more than a cold buffet,but what was on offer was good.the only other drawback was the noise from other guests closing their flimsy doors.
Would we stay again,definitely

Once you enter the door, the Hotel was magical. Everything from the beautiful gardens, to a beautiful room. Well worth the stay!!

We asked about the whereabouts of a restaurant that had been recommended to us and which we had booked. The staff directed us on a map to where it was situated but unfortunately this turned out to be wrong and we ended up walking about one mile out of our way. Wonder whether some of the staff know Florence that well.

Wonderful garden smelling of peaches, just lovely.
Florence is mainly one way so getting into and out of the hotel can be tricky, The car park is round the back of the hotel and accessed via a different street so also worth knowing.

Refurbished palace with lots of character and original features. Beautiful original ceiling in the entrance.

It is quite difficult to find the hotel by car. On the other hand I think that it is one of the only hotels in the center of the city which provides parking space.
