A nice place in the quiet surroundings of Florence

What a wonderful, gorgous place. We really enjoyed our walks around the grounds. It was quite and very secluded. The locals were were very friendly.

The staff were very helpful when I had a transport problem, trying to arrange a taxi, and eventually giving us a lift to the nearest town themselves.

I would suggest to emphasise the hill top position ! My wife and I hired bikes in Florence thinking of a pleasant 8km cycle out to Il Milione, and expecting a bit of an uphill finish. The hill up from Galluzzo came as a bit of a shock.

Peaceful, fantastically picturesque, and very comfortable. The restaurant associated with Il Milione was excellent.

No tour of the grounds/amenities was offered at check-in so we had to discover all on our own.

Quiet and scenic location. Room was as discribed. Other than the pool there was not much else to do except sleep. Customer service could be improved so that the guests were aware of what was available.

Again the whole process was not customer service oriented just give them the keys, credit card, sign and leave.

Rooster started crowing every morning beginning at 0500 so beware. This is a working vineyard/farm and the accommodations were secondary to the operations. Definitly a vehicle is required to explore the surrounding countryside and Florence.

Quiet and remote but only 2 km. to Florence. Beautiful views of the city at night from the room. Very private grounds with an electric gate that you are given a key to for access after dark. Room was on the second level and was like a studio apartment. Well appointed with all of the necessities.

Unfortunately, we had an additional person w/ us that was not anticipated or reserved. He was insistent that 4 people could not stay in the apt. we had reserved. He did, however, give us a room in the main house that was lovely & also our dinner at the restaurant was fabulous.

We only stayed 1 of the 3 nights reserved, because we realized you were too far out of Florence for us to acquire a taxi (the cost was high & we did not want to drive around Florence), & we needed to be in Florence. We do appreciate the asistance the reception staff member gave us & regret the inconvenience this may have caused him. You have a lovely place!

I think you should REALLY highlight the need for guests to have a car to get to their apartments or into Florence. While it is mentioned in the reservation confirmation, it should be highlighted somehow to make people really aware of the distance.

Gorgeous! Beautiful furnishings, great restaurant, & the land was absolutely beautiful.
