Fiorenza Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to stay while in Florence. Quiet, secure, and away from the busy central area, yet a quick bus ride or casual stroll away from all the attractions. The staff makes sure all your needs are met and provide recommendations on places to visit and dine in while in Florence.

Elena was waiting to welcome us. She showed us to our room, gave us some information about locks, asked us what time we would like breakfast, and made us feel very welcome. She also gave us info about buses, trains, etc. Breakfast was excellent.

A beautiful private home away from the
crowds of Florence. The room and the
bathroom were very spacious and Elena is the
sweetest hostess. We loved her.
It is a little bit out of the way so be
prepared to take a bus or cab, but the
neighborhood is beautiful and the rental car
office was just around the corner.

Our arrival at this bed & breakfast was simply wonderful. Our host Elena Particelli greeted us with a lovely smile that rainy afternoon and assisted us with carrying our bags to our spacious room It was a relief to be out of the rain and to step in the first rate comfort of this lovely villa located in a nice quiet neighborhood that's no more than a 10min bus ride from the city center.

Our stay at the Fiorenza Bed & Breakfast in Firenze was simply glorious. Our trip to Firenze was our first vacation with our 15 month old son Rasheed and we were a bit concern at first about how he would react.
The first night at a cramp hotel in Pisa was not much to the little guys liking. He let us know his disatisfaction by crying all night. However, the experience at the Fiorenza Bed & Breakfast was dramatically different. The kid loved the place. There was plenty of space on the property for him to play and to walk around. In addition Elena kept him well entertain during breakfast time.
By the way Elena served us real italian style coffee during our breakfasts. It was by far the best coffee we ever had and the tuscan style breads that she served were delicious.

That Elena Particelli is a wonderful host with no equal. She makes you feel extremely at ease and welcome on the property and goes out of her way to ensure that your experience at the place is nothing less than superb. You actually feel that you have known her for years !!

I have already recommended the Fiorenza Bed & Breakfast to friends as the first place that they should seek accomodations if they're planning a visit to lovely Firenze.
I assured them that if they're lucky enough to reserve one of the three rooms there, than they were well on their way to ensuring theirselves a magical experience in this incredibly photogenic city.

Elena's mother welcomed us on arrival and
carefully explained all we needed to know. She
was very helpful, even though she said her
English was not very good!

spotlessly clean. Beautiful garden which we
were welcome to use. Elena, our hostess, was
extremely helpful - nothing too much trouble.

We arrived by bus from the trains station see comments below as an additional suggestion to the directions.

Hostess was very personable, helpful and friendly. Home had a beautiful spacious garden for our usein a peaceful residential neighborhood.

Regarding the transport on the bus from the train, add: second stop after you turn right onto the Via del Gelsomino.
May note that restaurants near to the B & B were a 5 minute bus ride but a 20 to 30 minute walk.
Breakfast was delicious and ample with fresh breads daily.

Mrs Particelli was waiting for us and she kindly showed us around our rooms as well as gave us very useful information on Florence, how to travel within Florence, which buses to use, etc, and she also gave us maps and other brochures/informative material about interesting places to visit within Tuscany and how to reach them.

Fiorenza B&B was more than we ever wished for and we were both sorry to leave. Our host was so kind and helpful and we really felt at home all throughout our stay. The breakfast provided was excellent, always varied and fresh, our host always made sure there was ample of what we enjoyed.
If I ever return to Florence, Fiorenza B&B will be my only choice.

We absolutely loved Firenze B & B! This place is handsome and very clean. We had a very special time visiting Florence, and it was lovely to come to peace and serenity of Firenze B & B at the end of the day. Our beds were the most comfortable we have slept on, and we were delighted with a wonderful breakfast every day. I especially enjoyed the relaxing ambience of this B & B and my talks in the morning with the host, Elena.

We had a wonderful stay; the area is peaceful, the house and rooms are nice and clean and Elena is very friendly, there is a lovely atmosphere. We had the use of kitchen/breakfast room with drinks available at all times which was a really nice touch. The breakfast was fantastic, all fresh produce, and Elena prepared yummy gluten-free alternatives for me. I would definately recommend it to anyone.
A few tips: a four-trip bus ticket is a bit cheaper than buying individual tickets. If arriving by train, you can buy tickets from a ticket booth outside Florence railway station, and the bus to the b&b leaves outside Hotel Baglioni down the road (on the roundabout). However, it doesn't stop outside the station on the way back, so if you need to catch a train, it's best to get off near Il Duomo (check with Elena) so that you don't need to do a round trip in the suburbs as we did.

This was our favorite bed and breakfast on our trip. The photos were accurate. The beautifl bed and breakfast is located in a quiet residential area. Breakfast was the best that we had in Italy. Elena and her mother were so helpful that we wished we were spending more time in Florence. We will be back.

Transportation by bus to center of town was quick and easy. Only caution is that there isn't a resturant close, a couple of very good choices about 1/2 mile awya but down a long hill, a bit of a hike, esp. back up hill. If a resturant opens closer, this would be a unqualified top choice. It is still a great place and value.

Extremely happy with the stay. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, especially on arrival.
Directions were more difficult - poor. I had to use multi-map in the end. I'm not convinced that the statement 'You can stroll along tree-lined avenues to Piazzale Michelangelo' is accurate - it would be quite a long walk!

You need a better map to show the location. And for travellers like us - it would be helpful just to give the detail on the very handy local bus service. (Bus #11)
We had a great visit to Elena's B&B she runs a tremendously friendly and clean place - we would recommend it to others.
