all staff at hotel were friendly and polite and very efficient. I also asked for flowers to be in the room on our arrival for my wife and the hotel duly had a magnificent bouquet waiting in the room.

We arrived by train and taxi, so we have no comment re dirctions.
We were thrilled with our stay at Berchielli and have already recommended it to others. It was very accommodating and comfortable. We were impressed by the outstanding daily brunch, the large rooms and the amazing view from our windows. We are so very happy that we stayed in this hotel and would gladly do so again. The staff was wonderful.

The Hotel was not only situated perfectly in Florence but the staff and room and breakfast was terrific. Stay there!

i arrived early 9:30 AM but was still able to check in to our room, which was very helpful.

The Hotel Berchielli is located close to all of the places you would want to visit in Florence. It was clean with a large room and private bath and the view from the river view rooms was exceptional. For the price i thought it was a great place yo stay in Florence.

MYSELF AND MY PARTNER WERE EXEPTIONALLY HAPPY WITH THE HOTEL, ACCOMODATION & RECEPTION.
THE STAFF ARE PROFESSIONAL, WELL EDUCATED AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL.
THE HOTEL BERCHIELLI IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN AN IDEAL LOCATION, ENABLING US TO SEE THE WHOLE OF FLORENCE AND ITS TREASURES.

A nice place to stay if one wants to be neat the center of tourism. The river view is fine, but the street a bit noisy (both as expected).

They advertised internet access and did not have it, I had to go to an internat cafe.

Nice hotel, but very 'stuffy' people. The staff (there were a lot of them) need preparation H. Also, everyone had their hand out. The view of the river was very nice. I preferred our stay in Rome and Venice where the staff was smaller, and more friendly (they helped plan our day, recommended good restaurants, etc.)

The only problem getting there were all the detours due to road works, and they kept changing - second time around was already different again! So your description didin't help, even though they would have been very clear!

Positive: Big rooms compared to other hotels.
Negative: Only Italian TV channels (except CNN and some sports channel).

While one of our rooms was quite spacious and lovely, the other was quite small and the colrs quite drab. And both were the same price! This was the only disappointment I experienced...

My room was extremely noisy all night long. Was not able to sleep. Once my room was change to an interior room it was much better.

We had booked a double room with a river view and were taken at first to a twin room - this was however rectified straight away.
The barman was particularly helpful.

The day we arrived the gentleman greeting us made us feel that we were imposing him. We only had a day and half to experience Florence and we were to scared to even ask him any questions. It wasn't until the next day that the gentlman at the desk actually gave us good advice on what to do. The first night it also took me 15-20min to get an additional pillow when I really just wanted to go to sleep
