I marked question 8 down purely because we had some very noisy neighbours throughout our stay and I felt the management should have dealt with it.
The room was cery clean indeed, spacious enough and private.

Florence is a very confusing city to drive in. Even though I received an extra explanation from the Hotel on how to arrive, I got lost. Maybe you could indicate in your web page a more detailed explanation on how to arrive driving.

The cooling system was not working very well and sometimed during the night we had problems with the heat. The cooling system in the cafeteria/breakfast area was working better than the one in the room. This is the only negative during my stay.

A positive is teh parking area that they have, it's very secure and was the lowest rate for parking that I paid in 5 major Italian cities.

It was a surprise to find the hotel located on the 3rd floor and the first floors were under renovation, however, we were very pleased and comfortable once we arrived at the 3rd floor lobby and our rooms.

We felt very much at ease and enjoyed the hotel staff.

We left very early Easter morning and the hotel manager made special arrangements to have breakfast ready for us early and our checkout was very smooth. I appreciate this opportunity to thank the Aurora manager for this special consideration -

The staff was even helpful in suggesting a nearby restaurant when requested.

The breakfast room was nice, though a bit small. The breakfast itself was good, though a bit behind the curve on having enough for everyone all the time.

Tea/coffee making facilities are listed, but really this is only available in the mornings during breakfast hours of 8-10am. Since I like a cup in the evenings, the cafe next door was the next easiest location.

Very nice, convenient to rail station, and relatively convenient to local tourist sites. I would recommend it to others traveling to Florence.
Take your Italian phrase book, as many Italians only know limited English.

I wasn't expecting the dingy ground floor
common entrance to the building. I was
worried till the elevator got us to the
third floor where the hotel is actually
located and where the ambience improved
considerably.
We booked a 4 person room, one Queen and two
singles. I did not expect a foldout bed for
the the second single which took up a fair
amount of space in the room. We were
comfortable enough, but I may have booked
two separate rooms had I known in advance.

Quaint and a little dark, but quite
acceptable.

Very close to the train station but suprisingly quiet. 2nd floor of a shared hotel building. Friendly staff always available. Spoke English. Good breakfast.
Clean and spacious for Italy. Nice bathroom.
